What we collect

When you request an introduction, we collect what you type into the form: your side note, name, email, emirate, and anything optional you choose to add (WhatsApp number, who introduced you, what you do, and your LinkedIn). If you arrived through a personal introduction link or a campaign link, we also record that link.

When you offer to bring something to the table, we collect your name, email, company, venue or brand, what you would like to offer, and your website if you add it.

Why we collect it

We use your details only to review your request and to contact you about it. We do not sell your details, share them with advertisers, or add you to marketing lists.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored securely with our website host, Netlify, and sent to the founders by email. Netlify may process data outside the UAE.

Who sees it

Only the two founders of Side Note.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to review your request and stay in touch, and for no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, email mo@ripplesdigital.com. We will reply within 30 days.

Analytics and cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to this site. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites, so there is no cookie banner. The site itself sets no cookies.

The law

We handle personal data in line with UAE data protection law. If you have a concern about how we have handled your details, email us first and we will do our best to put it right.
